2021-08-11 Wed
Bangladesh country comes from South Asia. The country share borders with India to the west, north, and east, Myanmar to the southeast, and the Bay of Bengal to the south. Dhaka is the largest city and capital of the country. It is also the hub of political and cultural activities. Another important city is Chittagong which is the largest seaport. The One Taka of Bangladesh features 3 deer on the backside and on the front side, we can see the National emblem of Bangladesh where water lily is bordered and rice sheaves are flanked on both the side and above the water lily are four stars and three connected jute leaves. The term ‘Taka’ came from the Sanskrit word tankah. Another hypothesis is that the term is traced back to the Turkic word Tamga or tamgha which is stamp and seal.
